Cronus Wiki is independent of Cronus and Collective Minds and is not affiliated with any game publisher.

## What this site is for

Plain answers about the Cronus Zen: setup on every console, firmware, script slots, controller compatibility, what the screen and LEDs mean, what a script can and cannot change, and what each game's publisher has actually said about the device, with the date and the source. It is written for the person who has the box on the desk and a question, and for the person deciding whether to buy the box at all.

## What is on the bench

Every setup and troubleshooting article is written against Cronus's own documentation and then walked through on hardware we run: a Cronus Zen on the current 2.2.x firmware, a Zen Link module, an Xbox Series controller, a DualSense, and Zen Studio Live in Chrome. Where a page describes something we have not run ourselves, it says so in the text rather than pretending. The input-lag article is the clearest example: it gives you the method to measure your own chain instead of a number we did not measure.

## How a claim gets checked

- Procedures are checked against Cronus's support pages first, then on the bench. When the two disagree, the page says which one we followed and why.
- Publisher positions are quoted from the publisher's own post or rules, with the date. Press coverage is a lead, not a source.
- Version numbers are only stated when Cronus states them. Where Cronus's page says "latest 2.2.xx", so do we.
- Community reports are labelled as reports until reproduced.
- Every article carries a published date and an updated date. When firmware, a console update or a game patch changes something, the affected pages are revised and re-dated. A stale date is a bug.

## What this site will not do

It will not describe any device or script as undetectable, because nobody outside an anti-cheat team can know that. It will not document bypasses. It will not rank script sellers; a ranking needs a published method and this site does not carry one. It will not invent a person to sign the articles: they are written and checked by Cronus Wiki Editorial, and that is who stands behind them.

## Corrections

If something on this site is wrong, [report it](/corrections) with the page and what you found. Corrections are appended to the affected article with a date rather than silently rewritten. [Editorial](/authors) says more about how the team works.
