The Cronus Zen works on Rainbow Six Siege as a controller, but Ubisoft's rules count "using any kind of software or hardware to get an unfair advantage" as cheating, and Ubisoft is building detection for recoil macros. Siege rewards recoil control and quick lean inputs, which is why it has a steady script market and why its seasonal weapon balance matters to a Zen owner. This hub is the map: what a script changes, how the season rhythm breaks tables, the setup, and Ubisoft's position.

What a script changes

Feature What it does Depends on Goes stale when
Anti-recoil Pushes the stick against the weapon's recoil while firing A table per operator weapon, sometimes per attachment A weapon balance change
Lean and peek macros Lean, fire, un-lean on one press; quick-peek sequences Binds Bind changes; rarely otherwise
Aim-assist tuning Small stick movement to keep assist engaged Assist rules Rule changes
Rapid fire Semi-auto weapons and some DMRs as repeated presses Fire mode Rarely
Remaps Any button to any Nothing Never

Call of Duty anti-recoil scripts explained is the same mechanism with different tables; how the Zen works is the device-level explanation.

The season rhythm

Period What happens What it means
Season start, four a year New Operator and weapon balance; Year 11 Season 3 brought a new Operator Tables for changed weapons
Mid-season Balance patch Tables again
Balancing previews Ubisoft previews planned balancing changes ahead of a season Read them; you know which profiles will break
Test server Changes visible before they go live Authors update early

The monthly roundup records the passes that matter.

Setup that keeps a pull steady

Element Setting Why
Play pad Wired; on A1 on Xbox, on A3 on PS5 Wired vs wireless
Zen Direct into the console Ports and cables
PS5 Zen Link on A1, pad on A3, Cronus's PS5 settings applied PS5 setup
Xbox Official Microsoft pad, wired, on A1 Xbox Series setup
Sensitivity and ADS multipliers Entered in the script as in the game; Siege has several Tables scaled to them
Profile The operator's weapon and attachments Wrong profile, wrong pull
Test Shooting range after every patch Before a ranked match

Quirks specific to Siege

  • Many sensitivities. Siege exposes separate ADS multipliers per zoom level; a script that takes one number is approximating.
  • Operator weapons. A profile is per weapon, and several operators share weapons; name the profile by the gun, not the operator.
  • Lean binds. Lean macros assume the default console layout or your remap; enter your binds in the script.
  • Mouse and keyboard. Ubisoft's Mousetrap system targets players spoofing mouse and keyboard into controller pools; an M&K setup through the Zen is that kind of setup.

Ubisoft's position

Ubisoft's Community Checkpoint report of 7 August 2026 restates Siege's core rules: cheating is "using any kind of software or hardware to get an unfair advantage, even if it's not in active use", including spoofing a device's identity. It says the established Mousetrap system detects players spoofing mouse and keyboard in controller lobbies and sanctions them, and that a new model "to detect programs and scripts that enable recoil macros" would go live on PC later that month and "is currently in development for consoles", issuing bans only "after several confirmed instances of cheating". The report does not name the Cronus Zen. Is the Cronus Zen detectable? records what is documented and keeps it current. Nothing on this site describes any script as undetectable.

Frequently asked

Does the Cronus Zen work on Rainbow Six Siege?
As a controller, yes. Ubisoft's rules, restated on 7 August 2026, count using any kind of software or hardware to get an unfair advantage as cheating, and Ubisoft is building detection for recoil macros.
What can a script change in Siege?
Pull the stick against a weapon's recoil, chain lean and peek inputs, tune stick input around aim assist, and remap. It cannot see the operator or the enemy.
How are Siege tables organised?
Per operator weapon, sometimes per attachment. Each season can change a handful of weapons, and those profiles are wrong until updated.
Do lean macros still work?
Lean and peek macros depend on binds and are stable across seasons. Recoil tables are what a season breaks.
What has Ubisoft said about recoil macros?
Its 7 August 2026 Community Checkpoint said a new model to detect programs and scripts that enable recoil macros would go live on PC that month and was in development for consoles, with bans only after several confirmed instances.
Wired or wireless?
Wired: the pad on A1 on Xbox, on A3 on PS5, where Zen Link takes A1. Siege's recoil control is fine-grained and wireless stutter shows.
